As a Child and Family Therapist, you'll coordinate and provide mental health treatment for children served to achieve the best possible outcomes, in the timeliest manner possible, and within the most efficient utilization of available resources. Additionally, you'll ensure clinical work actively incorporates client and family voice and choice, and complies with OAR, license and payer requirements. Our therapists love providing consistent services to a small caseload of about 20 children. Typically, about four of these clients receive Intensive Community Treatment Services (ICTS). This position currently provides the option to provide either in-person or remote services to clients served.
Child and Family Therapist I does not require professional licensure and operates under the supervision of a licensed mental health practitioner (LCSW, LMFT, LPC). Pursuit and achievement of relevant professional licensure within three years of hire is a key requirement of the position-and, we'll help you get there! Kerr provides supervision towards licensure. Our Child and Family Therapist II position requires licensure (LCSW for MSW degree holders, LMFT or LPC as appropriate for other clinical Master's degree holders). All therapists provide limited, paid on-call support for one week every other month.
