Job Description:

The Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a responsible, courteous, energetic candidate to join our team as a Clinical Service Representative I for the New Patient Referral Team. As our Clinical Service Representative I, your responsibilities include: interacting with new patients via telephone, scheduling new patient appointments, obtaining all new patient information, and generating medical record numbers. This position may assist with verifying insurance and co-pay information.

The successful candidate will display impeccable phone etiquette at all times, have previous customer service experience, be detailed oriented, and have a demonstrated ability to interact with both patients and physicians in a professional and empathetic manner.

Expected Salary:

$15.09-$17.79 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer Service experience, including phone etiquette
• EPIC Experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Demonstration of strong organizational skills
