Full time,12-hour shifts; Night and day/night rotating shifts are available.

The Clinical Technician (PCT) on our Med/Surg 7A team works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team. Our medical surgical unit sees a variety of medical and surgical patients.

• Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
• Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measures

• Measures and records intake and output.
• Answers call lights promptly.
• Other responsibilities as required

Minimum Education and Experience:

1. High school graduate or GED
2. Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia
3. American Heart Association BLS/CPR required
