RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Engineer in Okarche, OK.Responsibilities:- Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform
- Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud-based systems
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of cloud applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
- As a Cloud Engineer, you will implement and enforce best practices for cloud security, compliance, and data protection
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong technical skills in Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools for continuous integration and deployment
- Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and data storage technologies in the cloud
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Certification in cloud platforms (Azure Solutions Architect, etc.)
- Team leadership and managerial skills
- Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for infrastructure management
- Understanding of ITIL practices and IT service management frameworks
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
