Primary Function of Position:

This role will be responsible for providing financial analytical support and oversight to the functional leaders of the Chief Medical Officer organization, as they drive both strategic and tactical decisions globally.  Such responsibilities will include performing ROI analysis, establishing KPIs or capacity models and providing insights & optimization recommendations. This position also serves as the liaison between our team and other FSO teams to ensure collaboration and coordination, as well as alignment of key global CMO strategies.  

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform ROI analysis & Business Case Scenario for emerging product or services.
  • Develop capacity models and efficiency metrics to support resource allocation decisions.
  • Enhance CMO dashboard to include value-added insight into current business trends and key operational KPIs, as well as annual CIP and quarterly WIN goal tracking.
  • Develop value-added insights and key operational KPIs for senior executives.
  • Collaborate and liaise with corporate and regional FSO teams on relevant timeline and deliverable communication to ensure alignment and transparency between CMO org and regions.
  • Provide FP&A support to Senior Executives in Chief Medical Office organizations, which includes developing and maintaining relationships with functional leaders and their staff, financial closing activities accordance with GAAP, timely preparation and presentation of financial results, variance analysis, forecasts and budgets.
  • Proactively identify and execute process improvements by leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale routine activities.
  • Ad hoc data discovery and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum BS in Finance or related fields with 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Critical thinking ability and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to consistently discern strategic insights from data analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and cross functional teams
  • Proven self-starter with ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
  • Fast, high quality execution of quantitative work with attention to detail
  • Track record of team player
  • Proficiency with Tableau, SQL and advanced MS Office suite and familiarity with ERP and CRM systems
