This position is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely across multiple internal teams to ensure those requirements are executed upon. The Product Manager will be responsible for gathering feedback and iterating based on new or changing requirements, and communicating releases out to key stakeholders. Ultimately, the Product Manager will be responsible for the ongoing value and success of MMA's Colleague Portal.

Essential Functions

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Determine clients' needs and business opportunities and incorporate that into the roadmap on an ongoing basis
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Perform product demos
  • Develop sales tools and collateral either on your own or with marketing
  • Propose and manage a budget
  • Brief and train colleagues as requested and as necessary
  • Work directly with the MMA technical teams to ensure enhancements and improvements are well-defined and on-track
  • Manage stakeholder relationships
  • Brief and train colleagues on Colleague Portal's underlying content management system (CMS)
  • Work closely with Content Manager and other stakeholders to ensure Colleague Portal pages are up-to-date and relevant
  • Work directly with Innovation Deployment team to ensure regional colleagues are kept up-to-date on releases, and to ensure local and regional feedback is incorporated in the product roadmap
  • Flexible location within reasonable proximity to an MMA office

  • BA/BS
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce or willingness to lear
  • This position requires strong product fundamentals paired with soft skills in building relationships across numerous teams, effectively communicating vision, and aligning teams around shared goals.
