If you said YES to the questions we are asking, you might be the COLLISION CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE that we've been looking for!!!

AutoNation Collision Center in Bellevue, WA is NOW HIRING a Collision industry experienced individual to work as a SATELLITE ESTIMATOR at our busy dealership. This individual will work out of the bustling Service Drive to capture auto body repairs from customers visiting our Service drive. This Writer will also be responsible for writing RO's for internal repairs that may be needed to cosmetically prepare new and used inventory to be placed for sale on the front line. We are looking for someone who is:

  • an independent individual who can stay focused on bringing in Collision Center business without the need for constant supervision or manager input
  • comfortable crafting estimates for customer repairs using CCC-1 (or similar collision industry software)
  • able to speak intelligently about replacement parts and sections of the vehicle that require refinishing
  • not afraid to confidently ask the customer for their business and answer questions surrounding the repair process should they arise
  • excited to scout the Service Department drive and used car lot looking for repair opportunities

 

Do we still have your attention?? Here's a little more about the Collision Customer Service Rep's daily duties:

  • Writes professional estimate on light damaged vehicles and actively asks for the sale
  • Understands basic parameters of insurance programs e.g., DRP and non-DRP
  • Obtain all signatures, work authorizations and powers of attorney
  • Communicates with each customer on the progress of their vehicle repair in a timely manner
  • Review all final bills, supplements, and vehicles prior to customer contact for delivery
  • Tracks production schedule for his or her vehicle's and communicates those targets with customers and other associates
  • Uses the highest standard in professionalism when dealing with customers, insurance representatives, vendors, and associates
  • Responsible for collection of Accounts Receivable on all insurance, wholesale accounts closed, and commission paid

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle repairs practices in the auto body industry
  • Basic knowledge of how a collision repair shop processes estimates and repairs
  • Valid in-state driver's license
  • Ability to interpret work scope from vehicle estimates or work orders
  • Ability to operate an automobile
