The Associate Director (AD) of Field Optimization reports to the Senior Director of Commercial Data Management & Field Optimization in the US Commercial organization. This individual serves as the Lead for Incentive Compensation, the Global Healthcare Entity Master (GHEM), CRM (Salesforce.com), and other Field Optimization areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer incentive compensation (IC) plan

    • Develop and maintain IC plan business rules

    • Develop IC plan summary and communication materials

    • Train field forces on IC plan elements

    • Develop quarterly sub-national goals

    • Run reports and calculate payouts

    • Develop & administer sales contests

    • Respond to data queries and investigations

    • Lead internal IC governance team

  • Manage the Global Healthcare Entity Master (GHEM)

    • Lead and collaborate with governance team(s)

    • Manage stewarding of HCE master, including the management of out-sourced personnel

    • Maintain data governance standards, policies, and procedures

    • Monitor data quality scorecards

    • Manage data services vendors

    • Train internal teams on processes and procedures

  • Serve as the business lead for the CRM application (Salesforce.com)

    • Collaborate with Global Information Systems (GIS) team regarding implementation of fixes and enhancements

    • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to manage and administer content update requests

    • Manage HCP-to-Center affiliations

    • Manage CF center master data attributes

    • Create reports & dashboards

    • Manage the mobile analytics application

    • Train new hires

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required); Master's preferred

  • 4-6 years of direct experience with pharmaceutical data; sourcing, integration, analysis, and reporting

  • Experience with data vendors, external customers, and field teams

  • Significant experience with incentive compensation models

  • Extensive knowledge of master data management (MDM) processes

  • Strong familiarity with CRM, especially Salesforce.com

  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and MS Project)

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills including ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
