Job Description
MV Transportation is seeking a Compliance Manager who is responsible for MV's proposal compliance to RFP specifications and company standards. This position is responsible for ensuring no proposal is disqualified based on technical error. This position oversees MV's administrative support staff, managing timelines and ensuring complete coverage of administrative tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.

You must get along well with your coworkers, enjoy working on a team, while possessing the discipline and drive to work independently. You must be willing to work nights and weekends if and when schedules require, and to be present in the office during regular work hours.

Core responsibilities of the Compliance Manager are as follows:

  • Read and review each RFP for compliance requirements - including but not limited to forms, content, and required signatures
  • Provide guidance regarding technical content requirements, and confirm those items are addressed in technical documents
  • Update and manage Salesforce database; perform reporting and data maintenance
  • Update Salesforce for current contract database information, including references and KPI data
  • Coordinate with Legal regarding legal exceptions and other legal issues
  • Review proposal checklists for compliance and accuracy
  • Complete and obtain signatures for all required forms
  • Review price pages for compliance with requirements and forms
  • Review final proposal package for compliance
  • Coordinate with Legal during post bid award in:
    • Support contract signing and delivery when needed
    • Ensure new contracts are entered into Salesforce with accurate information

Key Performance Indicators
  • 100% Compliance in proposal process / no DQs (% complies)
  • Up to date data in Salesforce used for client reference lists (zero errors)
  • Superior customer service to internal/MV team (complaints vs. commendations)
  • Education and experience requirements
  • The ideal candidate possesses a BA or BS degree and three (3) years of compliance management, preferably in public/passenger transportation
  • High Emotional Intelligence
  • Experience in management of legal forms and documents
  • Customer service, strong organization skills, and ability to meet timelines is critical
  • The selected individual must be conscientious, and integrate constructive feedback seamlessly
  • Expert or highly advanced proficiency with MS 2013 Office Suite and Adobe Professional
