SUMMARY: The technicians are to assist in the development, installation, and maintenance of new technology being installed. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance and troubleshooting; daily machine inspection and maintenance to include blade replacements, calibration, sensor inspection and cleaning, greasing, and testing; Repairing Lone Pullers; work with plant management to make desired programming changes to keep machine functions current with product specifications; ensure proper shut-down and protection prior to night sanitation; diagnose and correct machine problems as they occur; act as a liaison between vendors/service technicians for new equipment, plant management and corporate automation. Other duties include: ensure adequate spare parts are in supply; log machine performance and keep current manuals and other documentation for new machinery; provide necessary training for staff. The technician will ensure the maintenance of the equipment and the operation of the new technology being installed and train the maintenance staff.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma
Experience: 1+ year or more electrical and electronics experience.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written skills.
Special Skills: Basic mechanical skills; knowledge of pneumatic and
hydraulics and motor controls; ability to read a blueprint and
electrical schematic; safety knowledge and skills.
