ECS is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst II to work in our office in Albuquerque, NM .

Job Description:

We are looking for a Computer Systems Analyst II who has HTML, Perl, PHP, JavaScript and python experience. Experience working with optimizing MySQL/Postgres/SQL queries and database structures. SOAP/Rest API based web services

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and develop computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities, including numerous engineering, business, and records management functions.
• Develop plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.
• Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, and analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new commercial off the shelf (COTS) products.
• Analyze the problem and the information to be processed.
• Define the problem, and develop system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests. Coordinate closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications. Develop, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions.

Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizen and must have an ability to be cleared at the TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q/L level and the ability to maintain clearance throughout the life of the contract. Active Clearance at the TS or DOE L level a plus.
• BS/BA degree and 4 years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years development experience preferably with HTML, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, and Python.
• Minimum 3 years database experience working with and optimizing MySQL/Postgres/SQL queries and database structures.
• Experience with Docker for containerization of both web application and backend scripts.
• Experience with structured software development and engineering methodologies.
• Ability to implement solutions integrating SOAP/Rest API based web services
• Understanding of various IT systems such as hardware, operating systems, networking virtualization, and other technologies.
