Location: We prefer candidates to sit near any of our offices, but we will consider candidates working in other locations and/or remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert supporting Configuration and Data management (change processes and document version control for deliverable items)
  • Provide CM task support to project throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that fully compliant and certified systems are provided in accordance with requirements, governing standards, and sound engineering practices
  • Develop or modify CM plans, policies and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of project
  • Provide CM input and review to Integrated Product Teams or Working Groups, as required, including management of program data and inputs to risks, action items and Requests for Information.
  • Provide operational management of G&C Change Impact implementation, manage documentation, and participate in the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process and stakeholders
  • Use automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures
  • Perform change control and configuration status accounting audits
  • Support the Program Office and Ship Design Manager to maintain the technical baselines
  • Support a culture of teamwork, enthusiasm within the team


Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in MS Suite (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT); Access preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience using configuration management tools to store, track, and manage software, hardware, and data configuration items
  • Experience working with the Configuration Manager and Program Office to develop and support CM plans, provide input to milestones, and schedules
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
