TITLE: Connectivity Validation Engineer

DUTIES: Develop test procedures, create test setup and perform vehicle and bench test. Conduct a deeper level of triage and root cause analysis on difficult connectivity issues. Conduct tactical meetings with the broader team to drive difficult issues to closure. Train new team members as they join on all features in the Connected Services Ecosystem. Ensure the quality of the validation output by reviewing specifications and test cases up early in the development cycle and providing feedback. Support vehicle build activities such as characterizing issues found by executives and quality during different fleet testes as well as support the assembly plants. Collect and analyze various log files to verify test results as well as triage issues. Review

supplied issue root causes for detail and validity. Perform analysis of specifications for testability and clarity. Ensure documented traceability from requirements through defect creation. Create and execute validation plans, including timelines, RASICs, procurement of test benches/vehicles, test case creation and Issue Identification. Prepare technical documentation/road map for system integration between service delivery platform (SDP/Cloud) and in-vehicle electronic control units (ECU's). Carryout diverse activities in the software development life cycle, functional and nonfunctional testing, test design and methodologies (functional, unit, load, scenario, risk based, etc.). Design, develop and maintain a test set up such that the North American features can be tested locally via automation utilizing scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.).
