COMPANY PROFILE

Incorporated in Texas in 1966, Bo-Mac originally focused on providing civil, pipeline and other construction services for the petroleum exploration industry. In 1974, pile driving capability was added and our primary market expanded to include construction related to the oil and gas refining industry and the petrochemical processing industry. Asphalt manufacturing and paving capabilities were added in 1985 with service primarily to the Texas Department of Transportation. Expansion continued in 1989 with the addition of marine piling and dock construction capabilities.

POSITION

Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. in the Beaumont, TX area is offering challenging and exciting career opportunities for Service Technician Helper. We are seeking qualified candidates that are focused on project success and exceeding customer expectations. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all of the company's safety procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Activities may include handling power tools, variety of mechanical tools, operating motorized equipment, installation and removal of mechanical components and parts varying in weight and dimension inside of engine compartments and various heights above the ground, with fall protection measures in place. Environment is both shop and outside, thus the job often involves all weather extremes. Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength. The job of mechanic, as described, requires lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying 50 to 75 pounds
  • Experience with repairing heavy equipment used in construction such as Excavators, Dozers, rollers, forklifts
  • Experience with lattice boom cranes is a plus
  • Must have own tools
  • Travel
  • TWIC Card
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Able to work overtime as necessary including weekends
  • Work well with others in a team environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Preference given to candidates with at least 10+ years' experience with repairing heavy equipment used in construction such as Excavators, Dozers, Rollers, Forklifts, and Lattice Boom Cranes at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
