What You Will Be Doing - Review structural/architectural/civil plans with key stakeholders, conducting quality checks along the way
- Develop objectives and identify project phases, assigning internal personnel to each phase
- Conduct RFIs and prepare cost estimates
- Review subcontractor bids and coordinate their involvement accordingly
- Oversee and maintain project schedules, calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements to keep the team on task
- Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
- Prepare project status reports and recommend corrective actions by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information/trends
What You Need for this Position - 3+ years of Project Engineer experience (ground up, multi-family preferred)
- Bachelor's in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field
- Experience working on large multi-family residential projects ($40MM+)
- Knowledge of plan coordination, RFI documentation, schedule management, and procurement
- Good subcontractor relations and experience handling cost estimates
