Our client, a growing startup in the online payments space, is looking for a Content Manager to own the company's social media channels and create content that can be utilized across multiple avenues of the business. This position sits on the marketing team and will work with both internal and external partners to create inspiring content that helps grow the brand. Candidates must be local to the NYC area as this is a part-time on-site position.

What you'll be doing:


Creating content strategy and a calendar which aligns with the company's business goals and objectives
Create and post new content on all social channels which aligns with our stakeholder messaging and communication
Develop content across social media posts, blogs, white-papers, press releases, website messaging, emails and more
Utilize new and repurposed content to maximize your resources
Edit, proofread, and enhance the quality of content, ensuring that all work aligns with the brand identity and tone of voice
Become an expert on the industry and our competitors, using your learnings and best practice to innovate on the content strategy
Own the project management and timelines on your projects, anticipating and removing roadblocks as they arise to meet deadlines
Establish, track and share performance against KPIs

About you:


4+ years in Content Marketing, an Editorial position or similar experience creating content for social media
Ideally, you have experience in the retail or payments space
Demonstrated experience with strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. SEO experience is a bonus
Working experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc. is very helpful
