Mitsubishi Electric Power Products (MEPPI) serves the North American power systems, rail transportation, and large visual display markets with electrical and electronic products, systems, and services. Our Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist. This individual will bring their energy and creativity, into developing innovative content for print and digital review!
Position Overview

Perform the planning, development, distribution, and organization of marketing content and assets to support the marketing strategy of the Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD).
Essential Functions

  • Develop relevant content for target audiences to be leveraged across all division digital and printed marketing communications including division website, brochures, data sheets, social media posts, case studies, advertisements, trade media, press releases and sales tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and creative teams to capture and develop brand and product messaging, value proposition statements, and marketing assets including photography, video graphics, trade show displays, promotional items and presentations.
  • Aggregate supporting information and material for content development by conducting debriefings of product managers, customers, and other subject matter experts as well as compiling relevant market articles, reports and statistics. Prepare, approve, utilize, distribute and archive marketing content creative briefs that outline key elements of planned content,
  • Maintain content development and editorial calendar/schedule. Manage personal, team and marketing agency execution to timelines and budget assigning tasks as appropriate and required. Proofread, edit, and improve content drafted by marketing department colleagues.
  • Help plan, prioritize and implement new website updates.
  • Lead design and execution of printed marketing assets. Prepare print-ready files for printing service providers.
  • Establish and maintain processes for organizing and managing content development projects and files.
  • Establish and maintain processes for organizing, controlling versions, and delivering marketing documents and assets to customers, employees, and channel partners. Maintain marketing document repositories including division website, intranet and extranet. Update and republish content in response to engineering change notices.
  • Develop and distribute marketing reports and communications as requested/needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor�s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or related field with a minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing of technical capital goods and related services, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and material.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required to communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Advanced analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Umbraco (website content management), Adobe Creative Cloud (graphic design), SharePoint (intranet and extranet content management) and Microsoft Office software.
