Description
The Public Health division of DHHS is looking for a candidate with contract monitoring experience and the ability to work with policy regulations and guidelines concerning services delivery in child welfare programs. Location of position: Omaha

Work schedule: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday
Examples of Work
Participate as a member of the Eastern Service Area oversight team in monitoring the Saint Francis Ministries ongoing case management contract. Participate in Eastern Service Area Oversight Team quarterly meetings. Complete Contract Monitoring tool on monthly/quarterly basis. Conduct on-site visits to assess Subrecipient compliance with contractual requirements. Produce Subrecipient monthly performance measure scorecard. Monitor for fidelity of prevention services related to Families First Prevention Services Act compliance. Track and review deliverables submitted by Subrecipient to determine if contractual obligations are met. Responsible for coordinating with Continuous Quality Improvement Team and other subject matter experts regarding substance of submitted deliverables.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Post high school coursework/training in social work, sociology, counseling, guidance, psychology, child development or related field and experience in resource development, eligibility determination or contract monitoring within a public service organization. OR Bachelor's degree in any of the fields listed above.

PREFERRED: Knowledge in contract monitoring. Experience working with NFOCUS, Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, and On-Base. Ability to work with policy regulations and guidelines concerning services delivery in child welfare programs. Experience managing multiple duties in a fast paced environment.

OTHER: Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation for work-related travel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with a variety of people are required. Must have basic math, strong computer, keyboarding, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read, understand, apply, and explain complex regulations and policies.
