3rd Shift Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

3rd Shift Thursday to Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Operates the processes by which raw materials is cooked and processed into a high quality product for sale. This is accomplished by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Starts the conveyance system to bring raw materials in to the process area..

Observes pressure, temperature, and meters on the panel to verify specified operation of automatic and manual systems, and regulators.

Turns and adjusts controls to set specified feed of materials during different stages of the process.

Observes gauges and dials to detect malfunctions and makes repairs, or reports a malfunction for repair.

Maintains log of meter and gauge readings and records data to help maintain high quality finished products.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid driver license.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Hours:

3rd Shift Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

3rd Shift Thursday to Sunday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Sunday is a scheduled plant shut down primarily for Maintenance, Housekeeping and Training.

Shifts are subject to periodic rotation every 8 weeks.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.

Must:

Reside within the United States to be eligible for employment.

Prefer:

Reside within an hour of the River Valley Ingredients facility.

NEW HIRE SIGN-ON Bonus: $3,000.00 sign-on bonus paid out $500.00 at 30 days. $1,000.00 paid out at 90 days and $1,500.00 paid out at 6 months.
