We are looking for an experienced controller to help direct the finance department activities and support the CFO to ensure integrity of all financial transactions.
What You Will Be Doing As our Controller you will:

-Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with FASB 117 and GAAP
-Prepare monthly budget vs actual reports for each department to assist department heads in managing their budgets
-Assist the CFO with creating and implementing policies and procedures for the finance department in order to streamline workflows, improve efficiencies, and stay in compliance with federal regulations and GAAP
-Lead and coach the Finance staff including the Staff Accountant, Payroll/AP Specialist and the Purchasing Specialist
What You Need for this Position -5+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
-4 year degree in accounting or finance
-CPA is highly preferred
-Excellent work history with proven track record
-Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Performance Management Systems
