The Position: We're looking for a Controls Project Engineering Manager
◦Manage Controls Engineering project teams in the execution, performance, and appraisal, of projects. Keep the team working efficiently and deliver qualified jobs.
◦Ensure achievement of objectives including the scheduling of meetings, optimization of costs and management of resources while implementing the best technical solutions.
◦Apply industry knowledge and experience to manage projects from quoting phase through commissioning. Utilize planning, resource and task management skills to lead the control engineering staff in successful implementation of project assignments
Responsibilities:
◦Manage an internal team as well as overseeing suppliers.
◦Collect and summarize current technique, lead the knowledge base reference creating new equipment, technology, and R&D.
◦Work with Project Management, Project Engineering and other function managers to secure project running, and consolidate system procedure.
◦Allocate resource to work on project according to department job load and Business Unit forecasting with the engineering manager.
◦Lead the activity of Comau Solutions' standardization, optimization, upgrading, revolution.
◦Assist in training staff.
◦Maintain customer relationship and achieve customer satisfaction in technical aspect.
◦Support estimating the costs of technical solution and resources for pricing of design variants
◦Plan project technical activities and staffing (times, costs)
◦Coordinate internal/external technical activities and persons involved in the project
◦Ensure compliance with customer requirements and application of company standards (products, processes, and regulations) and identify opportunities for standardization
◦Guarantee achievement of objectives in terms of time, quality and costs. Track and submit reports on progress of the project
◦Identify possible areas of improvement in internal processes and lead/participate in improvement activities.
◦Other duties as required.
