Department Summary

The Center for Rural School Health & Education (CRSHE) housed in the Morgridge College of Education (MCE) at University of Denver (DU) invites applications for an hourly position to coordinate and provide administrative support to ECHO-DU on a variety of ECHOs.

Project ECHO is a lifelong learning and guided practice model shown to improve specialty care in medicine and reduce health disparities. Project ECHO consists of establishing a virtual learning community, hosting a series of Zoom learning sessions in which we share the latest evidence-based practices and problem-solve challenging cases in the field. Community and university content experts lead the Zoom sessions. People in the field are asked to bring their "cases" to the learning session so that all participants can problem-solve and share ideas for addressing challenging issues. Most of the Project ECHO sites across the country and world focus on medicine and physical health. ECHO-DU is among the few sites that extends this online professional learning community approach to other areas beyond medicine. Working for ECHO-DU is an exciting opportunity for anyone to gain experience in the fields of health disparities, rural well-being, community partnerships and program evaluation, while providing much needed services to the Colorado community For a better understanding of ECHO-DU, please watch our video and visit our website.
