If you are a licensed attorney with 5 years of corporate legal experience looking for a dynamic environment that will utilize your creativity and problem-solving skills, this may be the opportunity for you. We are seeking someone who is intellectually curious with a keen interest in technology and experience with intellectual property law.

Corporate Counsel Provides a full range of legal advice and services.

Responsibilities are within the Legal Function as a corporate/commercial generalist with an emphasis on content licensing, technology transactions and intellectual property experience.

We are seeking an experienced professional with 5 years of corporate legal department or corporate law firm experience. Must be licensed to practice law in the US.

This role Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in general corporate matters, transactional work, and related job disciplines.

Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of technology transactions and intellectual property law.

Be Able to solves complex problems with creative solutions.

Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal guidance; lead major projects or project steps within a broader project.

Must be accountable for on-going activities or objectives, including managing outside counsel.

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience in other legal disciplines.

Functional Knowledge: Requires comfort with various forms of technology.

Must be detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills; strong desire for continuous learning; conceptual and practical expertise with business acumen.

Business Expertise: Team based mentality towards delivery of innovative solutions.

Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve legal processes.

Problem Solving: Solves complex problems by providing practical advice; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.

Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Six Sigma and/or Privacy Certifications are a major plus.

Impact: Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other functional areas of the business; works within broad guidelines and policies.

Interpersonal Skills: Works to build consensus and rapport at all levels of the organization.
