We're searching for Corporate Counsel who will be part of a growing team of legal professionals to provide best-in-class counsel and support to internal stakeholders. The Corporate Counsel will be the second hire in the Web3 group. In this role, you must have outstanding core legal skills, including researching and writing, excellent judgment, the ability to assess risk appropriately, and a strong work ethic. What you'll do as a Corporate Counsel, Web3:

• Gain deep knowledge and understanding of DraftKings' newest product offerings, including DraftKings Marketplace and related regulatory and legal issues.
  
• Work directly with various business units to anticipate legal and regulatory risks and issues relating to current and new product offerings.
  
• Provide legal support and guidance to our Product, Operations, and Compliance teams surrounding new product offerings regulatory guidelines.
  
• Conduct internal investigations related to regulatory and legal compliance.
  
• Regularly evaluate the user-facing aspects of the company's product offerings in light of legal and regulatory requirements.
  
• Coordinate cross-functional legal input by working closely with other attorneys in the legal department.
  
• Manage and direct outside law firms where necessary.
  

What you'll bring

• 3-4 years of legal experience, preferably at a law firm or a company in a heavily regulated industry. Experience with Web3 is preferred.
  
• Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution with excellent academic credentials.
  
• Proven and demonstrated experience advising clients on the development and launch of new products.
  
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
  
• Team player with a strong work ethic and dedication to producing the best-in-class legal work.
  
• Genuine desire to learn and adapt to an in-house legal environment in a technology-driven growth stage company.
  
• Ability to consider different legal perspectives and suggest practical solutions to complex problems.
  
• Outstanding written and oral skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  

This position can sit in either Boston, MA or remote; however, this work is to be performed entirely outside of Colorado.
