Cedar Fair is seeking a CORPORATE REGIONAL DIRECTOR, FOOD & BEVERAGE at the Charlotte, NC office.  The Corporate Regional Director will report to the Corporate, SVP, in-Park Resale  and will provide financial and operational direction and guidance to a region of the parks with the objective to achieve excellence in quality, innovation, safety, sanitation, and profitability daily.

How You'll Make A Difference:

• Ongoing development of the VP/Director of F&B at each park to maintain the best talent at each location.
• Utilize the Business Intelligence Data with the park teams on an ongoing basis to help drive business decisions, changes, pivots and develop stronger leaders.
• Guide the parks to increase quality in products, delivery and experience while exceeding or maintaining budgets for revenue and profit.
• On going development of the Core Systems work that is being done to create structure to common practices. Once a system is developed, train the park leadership, and monitor for consistency going forward
• Ensure the parks have career growth and development strategies in place to plan for future leadership and retention of associates. Work closely with the teams on yearly staffing and recruitment plans
• Develop a communication strategy with parks, the other regional director, and the rest of the corporate team ensuring that everyone has the necessary information to be successful
• Specific focus on the development of a beverage program to include sales targets, expansion of programs to deliver experiential guest experiences, drive top line revenue and deliver profit

• Guide the parks to a high standard for practices. Review health department and 3^rd party sanitation audit results and work with Director/VP’s on corrective actions to address areas of concern.
• Develop and manage franchised concepts and relationships to enhance food and beverage offerings. Research and develop multi-park third-party concessionaire agreements that enhance food and beverage offerings and assist with our staffing gaps.
• Work with the overall Cedar Fair training initiative to guide a F&B program that helps us deliver friendly, dynamic interactions with our guests.
• Other duties, projects and responsibilities, as assigned.

We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10-15 years of progressively increased responsibilities in a food and beverage career path, with at least five years in a regional capacity
• Broad-based background that includes extensive knowledge of food & beverage operations, preferably in the attractions industry or a closely related field
• Accomplished negotiator with strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Keen observer of trends, patterns, and human behavior
• This position requires extensive travel (50-60%)
• Must be able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment
