Job Info

The purpose of the Credential Management Specialist is to work with our Solution Adoption, Client Operations, Client Management and Payer teams to secure and manage payer credentials. They will also be responsible for analyzing and working credential specific support cases and maintaining an updated payer list with credential requirements across all products.

What you'll be doing:

  • Liaison between internal teams, offshore team and payers.
  • Conducts payer outreach to confirm credential requirements.
  • Maintains consolidated payer requirements.
  • Experienced in healthcare payer/portal website registration, user and password management and site/facility assignment of NPI and TIN identifiers. Multi-factor authentication experience a plus.
  • Experience in the EDI standards associated with ANSI x12 healthcare transaction processing (837, 276, etc.)
  • Experience in the healthcare revenue cycle management industry a plus
  • Maintains an understanding of Waystar solutions
  • Collaborates cross functionally to ensure the team is operating effective for Waystar and clients

  • Excellent understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook
