Critical Infrastructure Specialist
This is a HYBRID REMOTE position.
Provides critical infrastructure program subject matter expertise to the MAA and MA Program Office.

In this role you will....

  • Participate in the pre-assessment coordination, MAA onsite, report development and Mission Assurance protection program related request for information.
  • Must have familiarity with Mission Assurance/critical infrastructure applicable policy, standards, and benchmarks.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance requirement.
  • Provide technical support to the critical infrastructure program.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Analyze installation utility infrastructure and determine Task Critical Assets (TCA) for major operational commands using the Critical Asset Identification Process (CAIP). M9549424R0009 Page 42 of 104
  • Provide technical support to the TCA validation process to establish an approved list for the organization.
  • Conduct document risk assessments to determine the impact of the degradation/loss of the TCA and provide recommendations to mitigate or eliminate the risk or provide rationale to accept the risk.
  • Conduct and document detailed analyses to identify TCA for Fleet Marine Forces and other installation/projection platform associated tenants based on assigned missions and ensure assets are properly entered and maintained in the data management system.
  • Provide a trend analysis based on asset data in the CAMS. โ€ข
  • Develop and enter Mission Chains and analysis documents, Baseline Elements of Information (BEI), and risk data into CAMS.
  • Update CAMS documentation, mission analysis documents and diagrams for all MAA related assets annually, to include inventory data.
  • Provide training support during CAMS training events.
  • Provide support in documenting and managing Mission Dependency Index (MDI) for all facilities
  • Provide CIP WG, CIP Working Groups agendas, briefs, and AAR updates
Experience Requirements:
  • Ten (10) years or more of DoN service in operational & mission planning
  • Desired experience with DOD Joint Capability Areas (JCA) and implementing the Unified Joint Task List (UJTL), Joint Mission Essential Tasks (JMET), and Mission Essential Tasks (MET) in support of military requirements.
  • Demonstrated understanding of system engineering and Marine Corps risk methodologies
  • Five (5) years or more desired experience at the Marine Corps Service and/or Service Component level command
  • Five (5) years or more desired experience translating military missions into the system engineering methodology in military applications for both the abstract analytical and on-the-ground risk assessment processes.
  • CAMS Training or equivalent Asset and Risk Management Program Experience
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university OR ten (10) years or more of experience directly related to law enforcement/security operations, including relevant military experience.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TOP SECRET security clearance with the ability to attain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and the ability to gain access to //SI-G/TK/HCS-P & Compartmental Access Programs.

Other Requirements:
  • Required travel minimum 50% of the time
  • May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
This position is contingent on funding.
