Our client, a pharmaceutical company located in Buffalo Grove, is looking for a strong Customer Service Representative to support the organization by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. The ideal candidates has worked in previous roles where they have initiated and implemented corrective action, ensured excellent standard of service, and a high level of customer satisfaction both internally and externally. This is a temporary position with the potential to turn into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This is an onsite role with the hours of 8-5pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes, and verifies the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the company's internal ERP system and customer purchase orders.
• Process all customer orders, changes, and returns according to established company policies and procedures.
• Ensures and provides quality service to both internal and external customers. Prepares customer service summary reports, as required.
• Appropriate escalation of service gaps, with internal stakeholders and external vendors that make impact overall Customer Service deliverables to customers.
• Address customer issues effectively and provide short & long-term problem resolutions while partnering with field sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
• Utilizes the company's internal systems to obtain and extract order information to provide management with the data for inclusion in various scheduled and special reports.
• All product and customer inquiries need to be addressed within regular business hours and respond or escalate accordingly in a timely manner according to SOPs and Company guidelines
• Provides back-up support to company administrative tasks, perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience working in a customer service and/or administrative services role. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Strong customer service orientation in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to analyze information, be solution-orientated with a strong attention to detail
• Reliable, collaborative and a team player.
• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, manage, and meet deadlines, as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
