Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$134,437.00-$215,099.00

The Customer Solution Consultant leverages industry and business knowledge to lead conversations with our customers designed to explore the drivers of business transformation. The Customer Solution Consultant guides the customer on alignment of their strategic goals through decisions they make regarding products and services as well as partners and suppliers relating to business transformation initiatives. The Customer Solution Consultant then frames creative and advantageous business, technical, and operating models that increase revenue, market share, customer satisfaction, all while allowing them to be more efficient and effective. The goal of the Customer Solution Consultant is to guide the customer to discover the full breadth of the CSG product, solution, service, and partner capabilities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Deliver new and disruptive insights to the customer.

  • Leverage industry and business knowledge to lead conversations with our customers designed to explore the drivers of business transformation
  • Track economic, industry trends, and competitive threats
  • Help customers discover the full breadth of the CSG product, solution, service, and partner capabilities
Tailor the strategy and solution to the customer.
  • Frame creative and advantageous business, technical, and operating models that increase revenue, market share, customer satisfaction, all while allowing them to be more efficient and effective
  • Develop a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of the customer's business scenarios and motivations
  • Guide the solution design teams to create the technical architecture, solution and/or service design that is fit for purpose and commercially competitive
  • Collaborate with the pursuit lead to develop and execute an integrated and multi-faceted account plan that is compelling, engaging, and relevant to the drivers of business transformation within the account
Drive for results.
  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue quotas while maintaining an elevated level of customer satisfaction
  • Pursue both new business and expansion of existing base business
  • Collaborate with the product, strategy, and solution teams by contributing to the identification and development of new or expanded go-to-market offerings

Education
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in business or related field

Travel
  • This job requires domestic and/or international travel up to 25%

Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in solution consulting.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in development and transformation of architectures in large enterprises

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Deep understanding of business principles and concepts that includes the realization of these concepts via business processes and how markets influence business, what are the differentiating factors of the business, what and how values are created, and how strategy development may be supported
  • Ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how business functions are implemented by technology
  • Consulting mindset, which allows a business architect to support the strategy development
  • Design thinking, which enables synthesizing of many ideas into big-picture view that shows the relationship between business ideation and business creation
  • Being an "agent for change", who uses business architecture to agitate and initiate action and challenge others via business designs and solutions, which drive requirements to the business operational and organizational structures
  • Successful track record of developing new business and quota attainment in a consulting role in large to mid-size enterprises
  • Demonstrated experience to identify, qualify, and prioritize prospects while leveraging industry and technical subject-matter-expertise
  • Ability to liaise between the customer/prospect and the technical teams while translating business requirements into technical requirements
  • Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with an understanding of business and decision processes in different geographic regions
  • Ability to use a personal computer with proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in a business environment
  • Seek and leverage opportunities to gain new skills, knowledge, and experiences; quickly assimilate and apply new information and skills to enhance results
