Overview

The Data and Reporting Lead will work across all areas of the business to translate unstructured business questions into actionable reporting and analysis. This role will proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize and continuously enhance the organization's reporting and analytical suite by designing, building, and maintaining datasets, reports and dashboards using an array of tools including SQL, SSRS and PowerBI. The ideal candidate should be highly solutions-oriented with a strong sense of urgency. He/she should be curious, product-agnostic, and comfortable managing evolving requirements and continuous change. Candidate should be experienced with extracting data though SQL and have five or more years of experience with data visualization and storytelling. Prior experience with data modelling is a plus.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the full BI lifecycle from requirements gathering and analysis through design and development, and release and support/maintenance phases
• Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies including SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, etc.
• Build and maintain compelling, interactive and actionable reporting to facilitate meaningful business insights from large, complex datasets
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis of data and reporting issues
• Provide training to end-users to promote self-service

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree and five or more years of experience with data management, report writing and data storytelling

Technical Knowledge & Experience

• Proficiency with SQL, SSMS and PowerBI or other data visualization tools
• Detail-oriented with a strong acumen for critical, logical thinking and problem-solving
