Role: Data Architect(BI & Analytics)

Location: RemoteWithin United States

What You'll Do

• Assistin designing multi-phased cloud data strategies, including craftingmulti-phased implementation roadmaps

• Designand develop scalable data ingestion frameworks to transform variety of datasets

• Serveas a subject matter expert¿in a cloud platform and contribute back to community

• Deliveron the technical scope of projects & demonstrate thought leadership atclients as well as internally at CapGemini

• Gathertechnical requirements, assess client capabilities and analyze findings toprovide appropriate cloud solution recommendations and adoption strategy

• Research,analyze, recommend and select technical approaches for solving exciting andcomplex development and integration problems

• Deeplyinvolved in designing and deploying end to end solutions with a cloudplatform's analytic services

• Leadthe creation of technology roadmaps based on gathered and prioritized businessneeds

• Conductand lead white-boarding sessions, workshops, and project meetings in support ofdata-enabled solutions

• Design& develop data models in support of BI/Analytics solutions

What You'llBring

• 10+years of IT experience with 6-8 years as Data Architect

• Experienceworking within the consulting industry and in team settings

• Stronganalytical skills

• Abilityto work with clients independently, participate in architectural reviews andadvise on functional solutions

• Experiencein data architecture for large scale and cloud-based applications

• Experiencein Snowflake/Azure SQL/AWS/GCP and other cloud-based solutions and migratingfrom on prem to cloud systems

• Workingexperience with version control platforms (e.g. Git), agile development andDevOps concepts

• Strongverbal and written communication skills

• Experienceimplementing a variety of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, & bestpractices (e.g. Incremental, SCD, Star Schema, etc.)

• Handson experience in Data modeling, data migration and thorough knowledge on RDBMSconcepts

• Handson experience in query/procedure writing for multiple RDBMS

• Understandingof performance tuning concepts on the cloud

• ExperienceAnalyzing, building and supporting large scale applications

• Understandingbusiness functionality of various applications and building dependency diagramfor the database objects

Minimum educationqualification: Bachelor's Degree inComputer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
