Baer is looking for Data Quality Testing Analyst for a 6-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Data Quality Testing Analyst
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 month
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)

Scope:

A multi-year, multi-release S/4HANA greenfield implementation project using modern, clean ERP concepts and cloud-ready technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Test and validate large datasets, spanning hundreds of gigabytes, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Develop and automate backend and frontend tests for SQL databases, data warehouses, data lake houses, websites, and Tableau visualizations.
• Utilize Git source control to manage test scripts, versioning, and collaboration within the testing team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer requirements and translate them into test cases and scenarios.
• Implement testing frameworks such as Pytest, Junit, and Selenium to conduct thorough testing and ensure robust data quality.
• Utilize your knowledge of SAP ECC, HANA, or S/4 to test and validate data within SAP environments.
• Leverage IBM Cloud Pak for Data and its testing capabilities to ensure the quality of data stored and processed within the platform.
• Apply your expertise in the supply chain domain to understand data flows, processes, and requirements specific to supply chain operations.
• Document test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance data quality assurance practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in testing and validating large datasets, preferably on a scale of hundreds of gigabytes.
• Proficiency in writing and automating backend and frontend tests for SQL databases, data warehouses, data lake houses, websites, and Tableau visualizations.
• Strong understanding of Git source control for managing test scripts and versioning.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest, Junit, and Selenium.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop comprehensive tests to ensure requirements are met.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC, HANA, or S/4 and their respective data structures and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Data and its testing capabilities.
• Understanding of the supply chain domain and its data processes and requirements.
