ECS is seeking a Data Tech Security and Sharing Analyst to work in our Washington, DC office.
Job Description:
The analyst will focus on data security, modernization of client data management practices, effective management of client data to follow DOJ policies, and support of applications developed with a data focus. Some key initiatives for FY24 are:
- Assessing enterprise data readiness for artificial intelligence (AI)
- Establishing a framework for data security
- Beginning implementation of an enterprise data catalog
- Documenting data flows of key client systems
- Supporting implementation of Commercially Available Information (CAI) review process
- Supporting Data Project Management Office (PMO)
The analyst will be responsible for developing scorecards and briefing materials for data modernization projects. The analyst will be responsible for developing training and strategic communication materials to enhance the client's data literacy and raise awareness of data governance best practices and policies.
Analyst's should expect to work closely with the client's Chief Data Officer (CDO), facilitate requirement gathering sessions with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to ideate around solutions, and develop road-maps for enterprise data modernization efforts. Analyst's should expect to use JIRA to track and monitor work tasks requested by the client and should be comfortable working with a small team in fast pace environments where requirements and tasks fluctuate daily.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000

Required Skills: - TS Clearance with capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with five (5) year or more years of consultant experience. Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has nine (9) or more years of experience.
- 5+ years' experience gathering, scrutinizing, and assessing of information
Desired Skills: - Experience with data analytics, data information sharing, data accessibility
- Excellent communication skills
- Department of Justice experience a plus
