Database Developer

• Provide guidance and support to team members
• Assist with schema design and code reviews
• Good time-management skills

• Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration

• Designing database tables and structures
• Creating views, functions and stored procedures
• Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications
• Maintaining data quality and integrity
• Develop end user reports using reporting and business intelligence tools like Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Scrum and Agile methodology

What you need to have:

• Must have 5+ years of experience in design and building complex OLTP SQL Server database T-SQL queries and maintaining database objects. (Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2017/2019)
• Experience with performance tuning, stored procedures, triggers and other SQL Server-related objects
• Experience with a source control system (TFS/GIT)
• Experience with Reporting (SSRS)
• Experience with SSIS
• Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Projects in Visual Studio
• Knowledge of SQL Server tools
• Experience with importing and exporting large amounts of data
