RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Desktop Services Engineer Lead in Newton, MA.Summary:The Desktop Services Engineer Lead provides workplace efficiency through the effective management of desktop technologies - this includes workstation, printer, wireless and software functionality support. Extensive knowledge of the Ascensus business teams as well as excellent customer care skills are primary requirements for this position. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics, knowledge base, independent research, and/or providing hands-on assistance at the desktop level. The Desktop Services Engineer Lead must be able to provide desk side and remote support to end users spanning across all company locations including offshore resources. The candidate will be responsible for mentoring Desktop Support Seniors, Desktop Support Engineer 1's, onsite interns and the managed service team associates for process improvement opportunities. Additionally, the Engineer Lead will participate in larger IT discussions, influencing decisions, and collaborating with peers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:REQUIREMENTS:
