Here's what you can expect as a Development Director on the Government Integrated Kidney Care Team at DaVita:

This Senior Director role will develop and execute strategies to bring more value based care to government patients and physician partners, leveraging the company's extensive experience and commitment to innovation.

This role will develop executive level relationships with physician partners and other health care providers as well as run the business development cycle in concert with local operators and corporate development leaders. In addition to development, this position offers an opportunity to also lead the integrated care operations and take on greater responsibility from initial strategy development through ongoing execution.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and executes strategies to increase value-based care participation in government payment models
  • Maintains awareness and knowledge of assigned geographies and lead internal and external business development meetings
  • Understands physician priorities and help practices navigate the transformation to value-based care
  • Maintains collaborative working relationships with all levels of operational management and coordinates across corporate integrated kidney care functions
  • Eventually leads care teams responsible for clinical interventions that help achieve specific value-based care outcomes

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Masters preferred. Masters in relatable field; MHA, MSN, MBA or MPH
  • 8-10 years experience in healthcare, with 5+ years experience in managing a clinical team.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating management; demonstrated financial expertise
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and managing at operational levels
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel; Intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
  • RN License and Dialysis experience preferred
  • 10% travel.
