Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Diesel Mechanic position. The ideal candidate should have five or more years of experience in the field. They should be available from 7am to 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

The candidate should have the following qualifications:

- BIT/DOT Inspection and Air Brake Certification, ASE or similar trade certification or designation.

- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic/air brake systems, electrical, and suspension systems.

- Strong knowledge of clutch repairs/replacement, minor/major engine overhauls.

- Experience with welding.

- Strong character and work ethic.

- High School graduate or equivalent.

- Own set of tools.

- Valid California CDL.

Having experience with fuel tankers is a plus.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently and under tight deadlines.
