Overview

The Digital Analytics Analyst works collaboratively with the HBI owned eCommerce business to analyze and deliver website & product sales reporting. The role will deliver data driven support for decision making in order to capitalize on consumer traffic and drive sales and profit goals for the HBI-owned Website Direct to Consumer businesses. The candidate will develop and deliver robust reporting and actionable insight to marketing, merchandising, and senior leadership teams. The position supports all aspects of e-commerce analytics and insights from technical implementation and ownership of tools through daily reporting and onsite/offsite insight generation. Takes ownership of e-commerce analytical projects.

Responsibilities

With a high degree of proactivity, works independently at an experienced level on assigned e-commerce analytical projects. Depending on the respective assignment, those duties include the following:

  • Track key top line and channel metrics through dashboards and reports, flagging potential issues or trends.
  • Apply funnel-based approach to analysis along with other best practices that provides value adding insights.
  • Demonstrate and promote analytical rigor in reporting output and meetings.
  • Execute ad hoc analysis in support of the web team and internal projects.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of existing analytics implementation and data collection strategy.
  • Assist in site tagging, campaign tracking, online site enhancements, marketing capabilities and other business tracking needs.
  • Pull and aggregate data from multiple sources to provide additional details and visibility.
  • Partner with team members and develop a good understanding of business needs; apply analytics to help drive decision making.
  • Other e-commerce related projects and assigned duties as directed by supervision.
  • Drives collaborative teamwork within internal and cross functional acumens; identifying new opportunities to build and enhance relationships with customers to improve sales and profits.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree, with major in quantitative or IT field (statistics, computer science, economics, other business) required.
  • 1-3 years of experience with e-commerce, digital merchandising and/or Omni-Channel analytics required.
  • A high level of proficiency with all pertinent PC software is required; Google Analytics, fluent in Excel, Word, Power Point and current Internet browsing software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required, both for internal presentations and clearly written documentation.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills are required for high level accurate analysis and reporting of results.
  • Strong ability to apply critical thinking, analyze data, develop meaningful action plans, and clearly communicate to management team required.
