This position will be responsible for supporting our sales team and advertisers through data analysis; including the ability to analyze all available raw data, interpret media performance, correlate pixel/site analytics, draw conclusions, distilling these conclusions for non-technical audiences, and summarizing actionable suggestions and optimizations and the resultant forecasted outcomes/implications. This role involves working with internal teams and clients to align on pre-launch objectives/KPIs while keeping an eye on campaign performance and client retention. In addition, you will be the primary trafficker for all owned and operated assets as well as responsible for the execution, trafficking, and programmatic ad buying needs associated with successful digital campaigns as needed within the ebb and flow of the monthly workflow. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and constantly self-motivated by their responsibilities, but also able to keep an eye out for opportunities to innovate.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Campaign analysis for currently running and recently completed campaigns to drive campaign success, client satisfaction, KPI alignment and client retention.
  • Providing regular status updates and reports to internal teams, sales representatives, and clients pertaining to outstanding campaign deliverables, timelines and suggested next steps
  • Implementing campaigns on Cumulus Media's various radio station websites and apps, which will involve trafficking (Google Ad Manager, Triton Ad Server, etc), monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Actively managing incoming and outgoing creative assets and implementing ad rotations, targeting, and supplemental tracking for assigned accounts
  • Performing thorough quality assurance and analysis of creative assets and third-party ad tags; providing recommendations and actively contributing solutions to quickly resolve technical or creative spec related issues
  • Proactively escalating issues and communicating potential challenges to the Director of Ad Operations and appropriate account stakeholders(s)
  • Taking ownership of complete programmatic campaign setup within our current DSP (Centro Basis) and conversion pixel creation, placement, and testing on behalf of advertisers
  • Ensuring the launch and tracking of media plan placements through third-party and internal reporting tools; actively resolve issues to launch placements per a media plan
  • Understanding media plan objectives and suggesting framework for campaign setup, which will directly translate into reporting and performance outputs
  • Participating and contributing to status meetings, team updates, and client calls/meetings
Job Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of experience in digital ad operations, project management or account management role
  • 2+ years of experience of client-facing experience within a deadline-driven environment
  • Prior experience executing and trafficking multi-channel digital media campaigns
  • Ability to write and graph results of campaigns and explain them to clients and ad sellers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize comfortably across several concurrent projects
  • Proven track record of taking ownership of a project and seeing it through to completion
  • Solid understanding of the digital ad ecosystem, programmatic campaigns, and ad channels
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Hands-on expertise or certifications in Google Analytics and Facebook Ad Manager
  • Experience with Centro Basis or other similar DSP (Simpli.fi, The Trade Desk, etc)
  • Ability to organize, present and analyze data in Excel
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
