RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to drive an organization automobile/van
  • Act 33/34/73 Clearances
  • Bachelor's degree or High School Education/Equivalency and one year of direct care experience.
  • Pre-Employment: Physical, Hep B, TB
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screening

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position
  • 15-24 hours per week. This position will have a set schedule but the colleague may be asked to cover open shifts between three programs

ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • Provides direct service to seriously and persistently mentally ill adults.
  • Service provision consists of teaching all appropriate living/social skills in order to enhance the individual's level of independence or helping the person served maintain his/her skill level to possibly move to a less restrictive site.
  • The service provided is to include support and education related to physical fitness, nutrition and wellness.
  • This position models and provides mentoring and will assist the supervisor with tasks, duties and paperwork as assigned.
