<p><strong>Vincennes University</strong>, in partnership with the national search firm <strong>Scott Healy & Associates</strong>, invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Admissions. Reporting to the Senior Director of External Relations, the Director will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, tracking, and evaluation of all University activities in student recruitment and enrollment. The position of Director of Admissions represents the key leadership component and opportunity at the University to grow its residential undergraduate population primarily at the Vincennes, IN, campus. The Director serves as an important part of the external relations leadership team.</p>

<p>Vincennes University, home of the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center, offers a full season of dramatic and musical productions, while the non-profit community theatre Old Town Players offers many presentations each season.</p>

<p><strong><u>The Position</u></strong>: The Director of Admission's position will require both broad oversight as well as a hands-on management style, including a working knowledge of current best-practices in student recruitment, data-driven admissions forecasting, strategic management of financial aid and financial aid leveraging practices, and exceptional CRM (SLATE) expertise primarily at the Vincennes campus. Collaboration throughout the University on all matters concerning enrollment of first-time freshmen and transfer students is required. He/she will provide leadership in designing the University's enrollment strategies and is expected to make sophisticated use of high-quality, data-driven, evidence-based enrollment decisions, utilizing best practices in admissions and enrollment management, while inspiring others on campus, (faculty, administrators, students, and alumni) to work collaboratively in achieving enrollment goals. Additionally, the Director is involved with establishing and maintaining a collaborative recruitment and enrollment environment. The new Director must be innovative and adept at promoting current academic programs, as well as bringing forth recommendations for new recruitment ideas, marketing strategies, and academic programs that match the University's mission, resources, and market demand. The Director oversees a staff of up to 20 employees and student workers.</p>

<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>: To be considered for the position of Director of Admissions, the ideal candidate should have:</p>

<ol>
<li>Eight (8) years of progressive admissions responsibilities, extensive leadership experience in admissions within an enrollment management partnership environment; Sophisticated understanding of enrollment strategies, market research, social media, admissions, financial aid, and student information systems; Analytical ability, excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with faculty, students, alumni, and administrators across the entire University community is important; Working knowledge of enrollment CRM (SLATE), student information systems, and other technology solutions in student marketing and recruitment; Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred; Consistent record of new student enrollment improvements.</li>
</ol>
