Job Summary:

The purpose of the Director of Financial Analysis is to conduct quantitative evaluation of financial information to produce forecasts related to the all business units of the Company.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in finance within a health care setting, with emphasis in LTC
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial analysis related to healthcare
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Excellent communication skills
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • Ability to manage all forms of communications at various levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Job Requirements
Essential Functions:
  • Update and maintain Company’s 5 year Global Cash forecasting to include management of rates, census, quality mix, and operating expense changes for all business units
  • Ensure that new build construction and acquisitions are incorporated into the 5 year Global Cash forecasting based on timing of transactions
  • Offer reimbursement analysis for all business units
  • Provide analysis of expense cost structure to support all business units to enhance profitability
  • Develop hospital readmission analysis in preparation for strategic initiatives
  • Create financial models and other due diligence analysis for assessing Home Health and Hospice acquisitions
  • Responsible for the preparation and coordination of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets for all business units.
  • Assist in data mining various metrics in support of senior leadership decision maker
  • Provide analysis of monthly financial results and project annual performance expectations.
  • Offer financial consulting and strategic analysis support to various departments
  • Create and Manage a cost analysis identifying the cost per patient/payors
  • Participate and support in hospital collaborations
  • Present oral and written reports to senior leaders on analysis findings
  • Prepare Ad-Hoc reports as needed
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
