Position Summary
The Director of Basketball Operations assists the Head Coach in the administration of all aspects of the sport program including, recruiting, contest scheduling, supervising sports personnel, coordinating its travel itineraries, budget management, coordinating logistics including team meals, buses, video and meeting rooms and film exchange, and ensuring program compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. The Director of Basketball Operations will embrace and model a positive coaching philosophy and associated techniques; insisting on a culture of respect and positive communication. The Director of Basketball Operations will demonstrate an on-going commitment to the principles of multiculturalism and diversity through hiring practices, training and development programming, campus collaborations, or involvement and participation in university/divisional multiculturalism and diversity projects or initiatives.

Work Schedule
8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. During basketball season weekends, evenings and multiple day travel will be necessary.

The salary grade for the position is 9.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $55,000-$60,000
