This Senior DEI Manager role is responsible for supporting and implementing an organizational DEI strategy that has a direct impact on building and maintaining a diverse workforce, organizational culture, and learning. This role reports to the VP, People & Culture, and is a key stakeholder in championing DEI throughout the organization using strong interpersonal skills, and comprehensive DEI knowledge.

How You'll Make an Impact:

    • Collaborate with DEI Advisory Board, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to design and deliver programs, communications, and education to strengthen our inclusive culture
    • Provide end-to-end project management of DEI education and awareness initiatives, including the creation of a DEI Standard Operating Procedures
    • Manage the day-to-day execution needs of programs and training including but not limited to, logistics, content creation and management, and delivery in a hybrid (virtual/in-person) environment of Foundations 101 and Deeper Learning (102) workshops
    • Provide operational support to Affinity Groups and Committees, including membership management, communications, and programming
    • Assist with managing budget for diversity-related committees/groups, industry memberships, etc.
    • Develop relationships with business leaders and subject matter experts across the organization to build allies, source opportunities for collaboration, and drive DE&I initiatives
    • Build a guide to help affinity groups and subcommittees traverse all departments as we plan and execute Optiv's DEI strategy
    • Assist with the Supplier Diversity program and Optiv Chips In community involvement as we partner to build this capability at Optiv
    • In collaboration with Human Resources, analyze data to produce dashboards, reports, and project updates to illustrate progress and impact - such as Diversity Scorecard for leaders and the organization.
    • Collaborate with Human Resources to develop DEI performance metrics for all employees including leaders and managers.
    • Develop DEI analytics and lead reporting to understand key insights; identify key areas of opportunity and recommend actions in support of the Optiv Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
    • Utilize talent trends and competitive intelligence to assess the competitiveness of DEI and development programs.
    • Research and implement bias detecting software for content analysis such as job descriptions, career profiles, websites, Sharepoint content, etc.

Qualifications for Success:
    • Five - seven years of professional experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion planning, programming, and facilitation.
    • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in developing, and delivering programs and training on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Awareness of and ability to communicate and work with people of diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
    • Experience implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion programs with a proven track record of delivering impact.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills including effective intercultural communication skills; Sensitivity to and understanding of specific barriers to accessibility and engagement.
    • Demonstrated awareness of and respect for cultural values and norms of various communities
    • Knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation methods.
    • Hands-on experience reviewing or developing organization policies like anti-discrimination and equal employment opportunity.
    • Bachelor's degree.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion terms, language, history, and practice within a workplace context.
    • Strong understanding of assessment design and utilization.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proven dispute resolution skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to navigate multiple priorities.
    • Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
