Job Responsibilities:
Lowboy Driver

The DDS Companies is looking for a Lowboy Driver to be based out of our Rochester operations. You will be responsible for loading, unloading and transporting heavy construction equipment from job site to job site. Driver will also be required to perform pre and post-trip inspections, communicate with dispatch to manage delivery and pick up schedules.

Job Qualifications:
Skills and Experience

Required

• Minimum of 2 years with Flatbed/Lowboy/Tractor Trailer hauling experience
• Valid Class A CDL license with a DOT Physical Examination Card and a clean driver's record
• Basic knowledge of construction and/or construction equipment
• Experience loading, unloading, chaining and binding equipment to a lowboy or flatbed trailer
• Able to operate a variety of construction equipment safely
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work extended hours and have a flexible schedule

Preferred

• Able to demonstrate leadership in the compliance of federal motor carrier safety regulations and DOT guidelines
• Maintains all paperwork required by company policy and local, state, and federal regulations
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and pass a post offer, pre-employment physical assessment test
