Position Details

Merakey's CTT Family Rehousing Program is a community-based program that helps adults who are experiencing homelessness or home insecurity, due to their addiction to drugs and/or alcohol, return to their family or family of choice. The CTT Family Rehousing Program team aims to wrap clients with therapeutic and supportive services to obtain employment/education resources, regain housing stability, and maintain drug and alcohol recovery. D&A Counselors will be responsible for individual and family sessions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree or higher in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling required, (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) preferred.

• One (1) year of counseling experience (a minimum of 1,820 hours) in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.

• If experience is not in a drug and alcohol setting, the individuals' written training plan shall specifically address a plan to achieve counseling competency in chemical dependency issues.

Additional/specific training and/or education in specific human service/counseling fields related to the field of drug and alcohol only.
