As an Early Talent Acquisition Manager, you are a key member of the Talent Acquisition team partnering with our Recruiters, HRBPs and Hiring Managers to build a pipeline of incredible talent and recruiting resources for the organization.

Role & Responsibility

As Manager, Early Careers and Pipeline Recruitment, you will be responsible for the development and execution of overall strategy, providing innovative strategic direction in the area of students, diversity recruitment and leading the efforts to design cutting-edge programs in support of existing and future business needs. You will be on the front-line representing the Bobcat brand and ensuring that we attract the best and brightest students.

Early Talent Recruitment

  • Partnering with functional leadership and HR to understand strategic workforce planning to build a diverse talent pipeline for current and anticipated future needs
  • Identify, build and maintain partnerships with universities, targeting students interested in pursuing a career in Engineering, technology, operations and various areas you will determine are needed.
  • Act as a liaison for outreach with diversity partner organizations and develop panels, job fairs, etc. supporting long-term workforce planning, and ensuring alignment with overall talent attraction strategies
  • Create and manage recruitment initiatives annually; on-campus and virtual recruiting activities including career fairs and campus events, professional development presentations, interview days, etc.
  • Create consistent communication, branding and marketing materials around early career opportunities at Bobcat Company.
  • Liaise with HR Business Partners and Talent Development to develop the programming for early career programs. Co-facilitate Internship program events and workshops, such as orientation, career workshops, panels, innovation summit, factory frenzy, etc.
  • Communicate effectively on strategy, approach and results to key stakeholders & management.
  • Monitor hiring trends and integrate industry best practices, innovating how we reach and engage with future talents, students and implement talent programs.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and recommend changes to programs, processes and recruiting tools accordingly.
  • Partner with Talent Attraction Leaders to create a bridge that allows co-ops, interns or early career talent to transition into full-time roles.
  • Coordinate scholarships, sponsorship and donation for student projects and clubs to build student awareness and attract diverse talent
  • Manage Senior Design project opportunities with local universities and Doosan Mentors.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of programs and strategies through the use of analytics

Job Requirement

  • Education Requirement: BS degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, relevant field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Travel Requirement: Open to Travel 20-25% to company facilities, campus or community events.
  • You come with prior experience as a Recruiter with demonstrated success in hiring top talent as part of talent acquisition or campus team or similar space.
  • Strong relationship builder and brand ambassador that places great importance on candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Strategic in nature, with demonstrated ability to think and act long-term and translate business requirements into recruiting strategies across several talent segments.
  • High energy and collaborative
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Hands-on experience with resume databases, Applicant Tracking Systems and Candidate Management systems a plus (ex. SuccessFactors, Yello, etc.)
