WHO YOU ARE:

You are a proactive, self motivated and energetic person with an understanding of identifying and managing ecommerce web site improvements through best practice, experience, driving fault prioritisation and assessment of internal/external customer feedback whilst having an appreciation of both waterfall and Agile development methodologies helping drive best in class experience for our 45+ global transactional websites covering Europe, US and Asia Pacific regions. You work well with diverse teams/stakeholders globally supporting growth opportunities and change requests. You possess strong communications skills both with internal and external customers. You are also comfortable working with third party service providers.

More specifically:

  • You have a proven track record working within a commercially focused retail ecommerce environment
  • You work closely with management and stakeholders in order to prioritise and manage expectations
  • You have demonstrable working knowledge of IT/eCommerce project lifecycles - experience in Agile methodologies a distinct advantage
  • You have strong organisational skills and working knowledge of project management
  • You have experience working with and managing external technology and service providers
  • You have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • You are comfortable in leading and decision making
  • You have at least a Bachelor's degree business or IT related discipline

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Reporting directly to the Head of Web Operations you will be a single point of contact in respect of e-commerce needs and queries and will through feedback and insight ensure that priorities are understood and issues are escalated appropriately or take action to drive resolution through the appropriate process or team. You will also help to drive the capture of business requirements for the e-commerce platform where assigned as a product owner on larger development projects working closely with BA's and the wider stakeholder base translating requirements this into world class online experience. Working closely with supporting ecommerce functions such as user experience, ecommerce based agile teams responsible for the full end to end customer journey; User Acceptance Testing function as well as Project management, BA's and IT development and Fault fix teams. Providing support to sales and marketing functions, communicating and demonstrating change but also helping to identify/raising opportunities for change and supporting identifying and prioritizing fault resolution. Whilst working in a team with a Global remit your main remit will be to support the US region and business stakeholders. In addition:
  • You will where assigned provide input and review all project documentation ensuring accurate delivery
  • You will ensure post analytical measurement and regular reporting of deliverables is undertaken on your assigned projects
  • You will support the fault fix process - prioritising and providing clarification/requirements on faults to ensure speedy resolution
  • You will provide and support effective internal communication on change and open faults
  • You will attend regular internal meetings providing input and ecommerce related updates
  • You will provide two way support to the Digital Transformation manager (who works closely with Sales and Marketing)
  • You will help manage 3rd Party solutions - such as our API Portal, Decibel (Customer Experience Tooling) and more.

Work Experience:
  • Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
