The EIG Systems Auditor will perform detailed evaluation and internal control and audit reviews of Applied EPIC agency management system. Develops and maintains audit standards for user experience and compliance requirements under indirect supervision. Will consult with Digital Experience Manager and Division leadership on system's operational features and issues.

Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain division specific audit criteria to ensure process and procedure compliance and efficient system utilization.
  • Create and launch audit finding reports for each business line in conjunction with compliance standards, specifically those supporting required audit controls.
  • In conjunction with business line liaisons, reviews audit results on a quarterly basis for quality control assessment and enhancement to existing process and procedures.
  • In conjunction with the Digital Experience Manager and Reports Manager, evaluate audit findings and confer with Applied EPIC staff for new features to improve efficient use of the system.
  • Responsible for maintenance of all related reports and appropriate catalog methods of same in Archer.
  • Presents status reports to Digital Experience Manager on a weekly basis.
  • Responsibilities will broaden based on additional skill and subject acumen. It is expected successful candidate will maintain and seek relevant education of system and vendor advancements.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum three years related experience with data management systems
  • Insurance experience required
  • Applied EPIC experience required
  • Accounting background preferred but not required

Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Personal computer knowledge and experience such as MS Word, Advanced Excel, Lotus 1-2-3, etc. is required.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge required.
  • Applied EPIC experience required.
