Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2023
  • Create job plans for electrical work based off of the Subject Matter Expert's provided service requests
  • Coordinate repairs/improvements to equipment through electrical maintainers and outside electrical contractors
  • Aid in documenting and categorizing spare parts inventory for electrical systems
  • Assist in replacement of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) components and input/output upgrades throughout areas of the plant
  • Identification of obsolete parts and components for electrical systems

Internship Qualifications
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours
  • Must be a full-time student (12 semester hours) attending an accredited four-year university
  • Project management skills
  • Electrical systems troubleshooting and repair
  • Effective communication with third party outside contractors
  • Maximo usage for ordering components, planning, and scheduling of maintenance work
  • PLC knowledge and/or programming skills (Modicon, Modbus Plus, Delphi upgrading)
